Sorry, I was really just pointing out that you need to change the workflow if you want to set it up as a trigger.
To run workflows, you'd usually drill down to your workflows folder (~/ Library/Workflows/), select your required workflow and then tab -> 'execute workflow'. It's exactly the same for setting up a trigger, except the change to the workflow itself.
