I think this might be a bug in the current quicksilver iTunes plugin.
This worked prior to the release of Leopard, but since then I haven't
been able to get the plugin to create playlists based on the correct
order.

Someone else should probably confirm this, though.  I'd love to get
the old functionality back.  With the way things're going, it might
take waiting till Alcor decides to get his magic app out the door...
