Actually, to turn this into a real action, all you need is to use the
format

on open thefile
     <script code that does stuff with the file goes here>
end open

in your Applescript, and then save it in ~/Library/Application Support/
Quicksilver/Actions.  You may need to create this folder if it isn't
already there.  Restart QS, and your spiffy new action will be ready
and waiting.
