QS stops searching once ">" is pressed. I want this is because when

What does happen when you type? Do you see the items in your inbox
listed in the results list? Is your inbox IMAP or POP?
At the top of the results list is a gear menu that controls the search
behavior. Mine still works even though nothing is selected in this
menu, but try changing things and see if it has any effect.
