The phrasing of you message is a little ambiguous, so I'm going to try
to clarify exactly what you mean by your description.

If I understand you correctly, you bring up Quicksilver's command
window and then type "itunes" into the first pane, and then press
enter, correct?

If so, what exactly do you see selected in the first pane of the QS
command window? Is it the iTunes application? Also, what action
appears in the second pane at that point? Normally it would be "Open".
