I'm trying to wire up a Search For action ( using a bookmark with embedded *** in Safari ) against a site that requires a POST instead of a GET. I have been successful in creating a javascript bookmarklet that works when navigating directly from Safari. However, when attempting to invoke the action from QS, it seems to detect that the bookmark is a javascript bookmarket ( prefaced with javascript: ) and triggers the Run Javascript action instead of the Search For action. This doesn't provide me the opportunity to enter a search parameter.
Specific questions: 1) Is there a better way to coerce the Search For... action to do a POST? 2) If not, is there some way to make the Search For.. action work with a javascript bookmarklet? Thanks -ryan
