Summer of Code 09?

So starting on March 23, Google will once again start accepting
application for SoC. I feel like this could be a great way to
encourage some great project for some college kids mind want to help
out with QS. The application part doesn't seem to complex. I think the
hard thing would be, once accept, is getting some reasonable projects
and students/mentors to work on them.
