I installed QS today and did not have this issue, however I went to a friends and he installed QS and has this exact issue, if he uses QS to try and start a music playlist or file, nothing happens, if itunes is not running it will start itunes but will not start the music. If it is running it simply does nothing.
One thing to note is that I am running on an iMac and he is running on a macbook pro, I don't know why that would matter but it is a distinction to note. If you figure this out please let me know what the issue proves to be.
