I have a problem opening files on my server with quicksilver. I have a library of pdfs I keep on a server and when I start typing the file name of any of them in quicksilver it quickly finds what I am looking for, but instead of giving me the open option, I get "open with..." Then it won't actually open it when I point to skim or acrobat to view the pdf.
The other complicated piece to this is that if I first search in quicksilver for the connected server drive then navigate to the file I want everything is normal, I get an open option on the second tab. My guess is that when quicksilver catalog's my files on the server, it doesn't save the extension information, and when I navigate to a file it is looking directly at the files not at the catalog. Can anyone shed some light on this and let me know if there is an easy fix? Thank you for your help, Sean
