It looks like it's related to the setting of the position of the
gutter in the results view (the pane that appears after a while). This
one has a split view which shows child of the currently selected item.
It was expected to be loading it's last position from the preferences,
but it was failing to do so correctly, resulting in a reset at each
start. I fixed this by calling setAutosaveName:, but it *looks like*
you're using neither Flashlight (the one I use), Cube nor Bezel (which
are the default ones). Can you tell me which interface you're using so
I can check ?

Services menu plugin and File tagging plugin from the plugins folder
and restart QS. If this does not work, take a backup of the
application support folder of QS and then delete it. Then install
B56a6 again.
