Look in the Web Search section of the "amazing" manual: http://mysite.verizon.net/hmelman/Quicksilver.pdf
try using cmd-x in the 3rd pane of the trigger definition to "cut" whatever is there and ensure it's empty.

I am working my way through the amazing qs tutorial but am having trouble getting the web search triggers to work properly. I have tried to setup both a google and amazon web search to trigger from alt-g and alt-a respectively. I have set the first pane to google search, the second pane to search for and left the third pane blank/empty. The name show as "Google Search (Search For...) ". Problem is whenever i hit the hotkey it automatically runs the search with "" as the keyword instead of popping up the qs window with the 3rd pane highlighted ready for text. Any ideas? Btw im running B54 (3815)
