I've run the gamut of troubleshooting tricks in regards to this issue myself. While I've never been able to get any version of 56 to launch without crashing. And while I did have 54 running for a few months, it won't run any longer without hanging. I've created new users just to test out QS, safe mode,I've tried trashing all preferences, caches, and application support files all to no avail. I do have backups of all support files that were working during the few months 54 was working, but rolling back to those settings doesn't work for 54 or any 56. Off the top of my head I'd say I've been wrestling with this issue for a total of over six months, even reluctantly abandoning QS for a brief period. I'd love to be able to use QS again but for the life of me I can't figure out what the conflict is. My last effort is to monitor the forums. If I find out anything else I'll update asap.
