Let me start by saying this is the first build since Quicksilver went open source that I've been able to get running reliably. Thanks so much for the work that's ongoing.
The main issue I've encountered with the latest build (that really has kept me from doing much testing) is speed. This seems to be the opposite of what many people are reporting, but B56a6 is just slower to respond than B54. Note that I said "slower". That doesn't mean it's slow. But there is a delay of about a half-second between when I type, and when the interface gives me some clue that it received the input.
I'm in the habit of just smacking a few keys and not really looking to see what QS is doing because it generally keeps up. With B56a6, I have to type, wait for it to respond to my keystrokes, then ⇥ on to the next thing. I've tried just typing and ignoring the delay, but this keeps QS from getting all the keystrokes correctly. I really do have to wait for it to catch up.
I know this is a horrible "report" because it's such a vague problem with a million possible causes, but I thought I'd throw it out there.
I have tried creating a new user and running QS under that account with a few of the default plug-ins. It's hard to test my usual workflow without any contacts, web searches, music, etc. but I can tell that the slowness is still an issue under the new account.
If there's anything I can do to collect more useful information, let me know.
