That is indeed true. I have also noticed that even after clearing the preferences and cache and making it work vanilla, some plugins (after manually putting them in separate folder and moving them back to the cache in Application Support) break Quicksilver as well. As to why this is, I don't know.
By the way, just to clarify - I wasn't blaming anyone when saying it wasn't working. When new OS' come out, some things just break - that's part of every development cycle of software.
