Are you using QS B54(3815) or QS B56a7?
Also, Leopard or Snow Leopard?
Some are reporting issues with "Text Manipulation plugin" in Snow
Leopard using B56a7.
If you are using QS B54(3815) and Leopard, then make sure that the
file you are appending to is a plain text file and has a ".txt"
extension.
The reverse of "Append To" action is "Append Text" action where you
have to bring the file in first pane of Quicksilver, the second pane
should be "Append Text" and the text you want to append should be in
the third pane. Try using that action.

For using the scripts, bring the file in the first pane and the script
in the second pane and press return key.
