This is a known problem with B54 on Snow Leopard. The other is that scopes for your triggers are ignored (which has been the case since Leopard). B57 fixes these, but introduces other problems. For the time being, it comes down to how you use QS and what you can live with/without. If you decide to stay with B54 for now, you can use a newer version to get the preferences set, then go back to B54. Just make sure you don’t have multiple versions of QS on your system at the same time as it will confuse Launch Services. I keep versions I’m not using in a disk image that’s unmounted most of the time. Others have suggested zipping unused versions. -- Rob McBroom <http://www.skurfer.com/> Don't try to tell me a thing is important to you if the whole of your “support” entails forcing others to spend time and money on it.
