Rob, Thanks for the reply - I was using the b56 version available on the Google code site. Whenever I clicked on check for updates it said I was up to date and the site did not have anything later so I assumed I was OK.
I have downloaded b57 (3840) from the github and installed this and all is well with the world! That is great. I did try launchbar for a while but couldn't get on with it so am delighted that QS is back up to scratch. Keep up the great work.
