On Snow Leopard, you'll need to upgrade to B57 (B54 is broken). Download it
from here:

http://github.com/tiennou/blacktree-alchemy/downloads

If your iMac is on 10.5, I'd stick with B54 unless you're having any more
problems.

After installing B57 you should be able to see the prefs again and tick
'start at login'
