I usually have thos problem when Quicksilver was recently launched, but it goes
away after indexing is complete. I am also getting applications using the
Spotlight plugin instead of the normal applications source, so my setup isn't
typical.

Anyway, if this is constantly a problem no matter how long QS has been running,
clearing your cache will probably fix it. Quit Quicksilver, remove these two
folders, then start it again and wait a minute.

    ~/Library/Caches/Quicksilver
    ~/Library/Caches/com.blacktree.quicksilver

Because it screws up the order in which people normally read text.
