Ok, I have a few issues that have been driving me insane: One I can't reply to a Msn message with quick silver. All I want is to quickly reply to a Msn message without leaving what I am doing. Heck even if there was a away to bring that one window to the front and then reply and send it to the back again, but quickly. I was thinking that it could be done with applescript but there is no dictionary for MSN Messenger. I have seen scripts to change the status of msn, but they require the "enable access for assistive devices" option to be turned on. I cannot not turn that on, I do not have admin rights and I won't be getting them.
I was thinking it would be something like this. . ---> write message ----> select from open msn chat windows ----> put message into the text field of selected msn window --> then send. Heck even if it just put the text in that field and then brought it to the front that would be great. Two I have to keep refreshing my entourage contacts list once a day: The bug with the Entourage 2004 plugin where it doesn't scan the contact list for what ever reason drives me insane. When you first install quicksilver it works fine. Then after time it just stops scanning the contacts, even though if you go into it and check what it holds you can see it is holding all of the contacts. The refresh hot key doesn't work, I have to go all the way in and un-select then reselect it manually. Is there a way to refresh that with keyboard commands? Triggers? Scripts? I Just need a quick way to refresh it once I remember it's not working. Ok I figured out a trigger to bring up the catalog menu to make refreshing it easier.
