Hi there,

I now spent half a day in reading various discussions and workarounds
with triggers and alternatives using a script that searches with
YubNub but I cannot imagine that such a useful and fundamental plugin
does not work.

I use QS ß57 (3840) on Mac OS X 10.6.4. I installed the Web Search
Plugin as described in various tutorials. The annoying thing is that
the default action remains "open" and I have to scroll several times
to get the "search for" action.

What I notice is a special icon in the first pane with a white
document and magnifying glasses overlaying the globe instead of the
simple globe when treating bookmarked URLs. Of course I can configure
the appropriate default action using the preferences but the qss-http-
bookmarks are currently treated identically to usual http-bookmarks.
Maybe this is the point, I don't know.

Is there any further hint I didn't see solving this initial problem
without a workaround?
