⌥⌘S works only when Quicksilver is the active application (i.e. when
its command window is showing). If you want to bring up the shelf
without first activating QS, you will need to create a trigger for it.

There does seem to be a bug with the Shelf palette and the Clipboard
History palette that causes them to disappear if they are not docked
to the side of the screen somewhere. I'm not sure why that is. You can
file a bug on that at http://github.com/tiennou/blacktree-alchemy/issues.
(Note: for whatever reason, GitHub will probably want you to make an
account before it lets you do anything. I think that is stupid, but
meh. You can give it bogus info if you like, but I've never had it
send me any spam.)
