The subject says it all, really :) I've managed to reproduce this a few times, couldn't find any existing posts on the same topic.
Try this: make a temporary folder with no dots in its name ( eg. 'test') select the 'test' folder in the finder bring up quicksilver (ctrl-space) use the 'grab' function (cmnd-G) note that the "Go to directory in terminal" option is there (you must have the Terminal plugin active) Now, rename the test folder to have a dot in it (eg. 'test .punctuation folder' or something) repeat the above steps note the distinct lack of any folder-oriented actions
