While I'm sure your problem is real, I wouldn't worry too much about that 
particular console message. I've seen it many times without issue.

You could also try removing the preferences and the other cache folder. The 
full list is here:

There are a couple of plug-ins know to prevent Quicksilver from loading on 
10.6. I know the airport module is one (I forget the others) so make sure that 
isn't enabled.
