For me it works (b58 on OS 10.6.5). As philostein states, the 3rd pane is empty, but if you type something or use the down arrow, you should be able to access the menu bar items. I have created a trigger Cmd+Alt+Ctrl+m for Current Application / Menu Bar Items..., so I can access very quickly nearly every command available - that's one of my favorite QS features!
