I was using version 1.3 of the internal plugin. I just uninstalled
that and installed the 1.3 version from your link, and yep, that
definitely fixed the Large Type display (and boy is it LARGE), but not
the default.

Previously the result replaced the formula in the first pane of the
Menu interface (i.e., there was no need to do anything other than
press [enter] at the end of the formula). (Although I always _wished_
that it would either (a) leave the formula in the first pane and show
the result in the second pane (e.g., [=1+1][2], or (b) show the
combination of the formula and the result in the first pane (e.g.,
[1+1 =2]).)

I was having the some behavior with dc (rpn) that I had with bc
(default), but with the version from http://qsapp.com/plugins/ I'm
getting the "dc:stack empty" error for the Default display, nothing at
all for Large Type, and just the graphic of a calculator for
Notification.
