Hello Henning,

thanks for your advices. I've tried that already. I've deleted all
files belonging to quicksilver (caches, preferences and application
itself). Then did a reinstall. The problem persists. I have no idea
why.

Is a logfile created while starting quicksilver? Perhaps Quicksilver
is trying to get some systeminformation and can't get access... Just
guessing!
