I've been trying out this neat little menubar app called Fantastical
lately and am trying to integrate it into my Quicksilver world.
Essentially, it's a front-end for iCal which accepts natural language
entries for creating events. It has its own service ("Send to
Fantastical") so I figured it would be pretty easy. Unfortunately, I
hit a snag.

What I would like to happen is to be able to invoke QS, enter some
text in text mode, and then send that text to Fantastical. I can't get
this to work. When I enter some text in text mode, the service isn't
available as an action. It is available when I get text into QS using
the Cmd-Esc trigger, however. What's up with that?

As a side note, is anyone working on updating the Services Menu plug-
in? Seems like it would be a wise move for the future of our beloved
Quicksilver.

BTW, I'm on Snow Leopard with the latest (B59) version of QS.
