Unfortunately, this is the case with all plugins that have recently been updated. Quicksilver is still using the old plugins list from blacktree.com which hasn't been updated to reflect the plugin changes. This is telling Quicksilver silly things, making it think there's a new version.
For the time being, the best thing to do is to reduce the update-check frequency in Quicksilver's preferences.
