I had the same problem. If I remember correctly, I reinstalled the firefox plugin (you have to delete it first). and then go into catalog, and duplicate the firefox bookmarks item. Restart quicksilver, and then go to your new custom item and then select the file, and select the bookmarks.HTML file explicitly. Refreshing the catalog should work then.
