Like everyone says, make sure you download the latest Web Search plug-in from qsapp.com. > 3. Current app > i do not seem to have this object. This is a Proxy Object. You’ll only see if if you enable advanced features in the preferences and then enable Proxy Objects in the catalog. > 4. The “Home” preset under “User” (or any of the presets actually) can’t be modified. I see that Lion allows me to move the slider around for some reason, but it’s grayed out and changes are ignored. What you need to do is click the info button at the bottom of the window then go to Attributes. There you should see a “Create Copy” button. That should add a copy of Home to the Custom section. You can disable the default you just copied and then go adjust the settings on the custom one to your liking. Having said that, yo DO NOT want infinite depth for your home directory. It’ll slow down Quicksilver and most of it is useless. Files can be accessed in Quicksilver even if they aren’t in the catalog so you really just want a few of the common “starting points” in the catalog. From there, you can hit / or → to drill down further. You can also search within the resulting list to quickly get where you’re going. -- Rob McBroom <http://www.skurfer.com/>
