That doesn't solve the issue. I have also tried escape, enter and ctrl- c. Only return reenables the modifier-only activation. I have also tried setting the modifier-only activation to different modifiers. Even after invoking Quicksilver by HotKey-activation, modifier-only activation continues not to work. Even after switching to another application or after quitting the terminal altogether, it continues not to work. But as soon as I produce a return, it will work again -- even if, for instance, the return is produced in this text input window. That reminds me that in some other occasions, I also have been unable to use the modifier-only activation. Sometimes, I suspected it were somehow related with browsing secure websites. But never before have I been able to pin the problem down to a specific step, like the "keycode return" in this AppleScript. I hope so :) Yes, that would be exactly what I want. However, I fail to make it work. I am running ß61 (3900). When I install the "Terminal Module" from within Quicksilver, I get version 2.0.0 from 2011-07-15. It does not feature any "open terminal" action, but a "Go to Directory in Terminal" action. That action seems not to work on applications, but only on folders, and it invariably opens a new terminal window. Additionally, there is another "New Terminal at Folder" action. I have been unable to invoke it at all: When I select a folder in pane 1 and type "terminal" in pane 2 or when I type "terminal" in pane 1, it just won't show up even though it is enabled in the Actions tab of the preferences. I don't know what I am missing. I would indeed gladly prefer the Terminal Module from within Quicksilver over my own quick and dirty AppleScript, but the Terminal Module just does not work for me (neither do the New Terminal entries of the Services menu). -- grüess mach
