Jon,

Sonos is a popular music system that streams music from a variety of
sources (a music library on your laptop, a NAS drive, an internet
radio etc, a music service such as Spotify or Pandora) to wireless
speakers [1]

It seems to allow for some kind of AppleScript control [2] although it
doesn't provide an actual API. A number of third-party controllers
based on its UPnP interface are available [3], including a Python
controller [4]. I was curious to hear if others in this group had come
across some viable solution to control it via QS.
