It is booting off an SSD yes (a 64GB Crucial M4, details of setup at
http://superuser.com/questions/364204/safe-to-use-ssd-to-boot-oses-mainly-os-x-which-has-trim-issues/364480#364480).
But it's not quite the same issue, as as I said more recently :
Now working, even after reboots, since I quit and
restarted QuickSilver. But it wasn't working on reopening
automatically each reboot before - bizarre.
