I have the same problem on Lion 10.7.2 with a Macbook Pro with SSD
tried: - reinstall - deleting preferences by hand - moved it to /Applications, it was before in an other location - removed is as login item Even when I remove it as login item, the effect stays the same. 1 of 4 times it works and the splash screen goes away. regards yves
