actually I have been having a lot of issues with that since upgrading to lion. Lion does not seem to like to remember that setting so it is probably not quicksilvers fault. this happens to be when i switch to chinese keyboard. it is curious though that windows that are suppose to use the English keyboard will switch to the Chinese, but the ones that are suppose to be Chinese never switches to English. my default is English which might have something to do with it, but I am not sure as I have not done extensive testing. I did submit a bug report to Apple about it, but i dont know if it will do anything.
