For as far back as we have source code, Quicksilver would “learn” your abbreviations whether you hit return, slash, or right arrow. There were problems with multiple items (when using the comma trick), but those were addressed in B61. So add comma to the list of things that help it learn. As it stands now, Quicksilver should remember the abbreviations you use in any context. (Please open an issue if you find something we missed.) As for the Assign Abbreviation action not showing up, I can’t reproduce it. It’s always there, no matter what I select or how I select it.
