I've found the QS plugin for iCal to be lacking now that iCal supports "Quick Event" plain text. It's smarter contextually than the iCal plugin, so I have found myself using QS to invoke iCal, hitting Command-n, typing in my event, etc. This maybe saves a keystroke or two, but mostly it's just more QS integrated and makes me happy.
To install, it needs to be placed in ~/Library/Application Support/Quicksilver/Actions To use, just hit . then type your Quick Event text, e.g. "2pm-3pm Friday Meet with Clowns at Circus", tab to the iCal Quick Event.scpt action and hit return. I have it bringing you to the iCal event at this point because I often need to change my calendar from the default. It would be easy enough in the script to send a second return. Hope it helps someone. It's pretty simple. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Quicksilver group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
