I've added a new issue here: https://github.com/quicksilver/Quicksilver/issues/927 with the idea that the file tagging and spotlight plugins be merged, to hopefully reduce confusion and also the number of plugins. Rationalisation is always good ;)
I know Rob is working on the Spotlight plugin, so hopefully he can simplify things whilst he's at it.
