I don't quite get the old way of doing this. The drawback of renaming the 
app is that I can't find it in Spotlight if I need to (re)launch it for 
whatever reason (that's actually not a problem anymore since I set a 
service for this purpose). Info.plist, maybe?

Do you know if alcor made the whole alphabet this way?

It may seem futile, but QS deserves its own font or set of glyphs. If you 
happen to contact alcor and can ask him about it, please post back.
