I would update Quicksilver to B68 (3928) before trying anything else. (Just noticed that in the subject.) Are there any messages in the Console from Quicksilver? (/Applications/Utilities/Console.app) Do you have the Shelf plug-in installed too? There’s an old old bug that makes one require the other.
