Whoops, sorry for the late reply, I often forget to read mailing lists I'm on for a while.
This isn't merely a script, it's actually a custom action. Drop it it ~/Application Support/Quicksilver/Actions (you'll have to create the Actions folder, most likely), and then your workflow can be: select the files you want in Finder; use "Command Window With Selection", Cmd-G, or the Service to get them into QS; Tab, "compdf" (or something); Enter, wait a couple seconds and QS will reinvoke with the result; tab, Rename…, tab, whatever you want. Custom actions are really powerful but not that well supported at the moment. This happened to be a lucky sort of action that *can* be built—I couldn't write one that asks for the output filename in the 3rd pane, for instance, due to API limitations.
