Thanks for the quick responses. 1. Either resetting it to not auto login and then logging back in OR suppressing it in the Dock did the trick it now works as expected in Full screen mode :-)
2. Just for fun does anyone know why a key command does not work or how to trouble shoot it? The command <CTRL> <Cmd> F should take you to full screen or back. It does on one machine but not on this one. I can see the command in KeyQue but when I use the key character viewer. It shows <CTRL> <Cmd> but not the F when its pressed. The F key works.
