Yes, but I can confirm that Apple don't really have any way of checking this/validating this. All you'd have to do would be to upload an app to the App Store linking to a perfectly innocent file, then change that file upon app validation ;-) Of course, if they found out they'd pull the app from the App Store. I've wanted to make some kind of bundle loader / SIMBL equivalent to key various different language (yeah, Welsh!) keyboards working on iOS. Doable with rooting the device (as I said earlier) but that's about it. http://oleb.net/blog/2012/10/remote-view-controllers-in-ios-6/ points to XPC on iOS being used by Apple, but it's probably a long way off before us devs will get it On 15 November 2012 16:38, Etienne Samson <[email protected]> wrote: > At least we could provide access to system-level stuff (Contacts & all, > maybe even calling & texting). > > But yeah, I'm not sure how plugins would work (aren't application that do > network access to download more binaries out of the question anyway ?), I > can imagine with some work you could have some kind of IPC framework that > app developer would use to communicate back with QS (say to get back a list > objects and appropriate actions).
