The problem should go away if you just disable the Contacts plug-in for now. No need to ditch the entire application. :-) This is a tricky one because none of us have been able to reproduce it. Other devs have been able to test out the Facebook and CardDAV integration and fix minor problems, so those that remain are probably specific to Exchange.
