I have this problem. Searching for characters that are towards the end of object names often fails.
Example: My Quicksilver Actions folder shows its scripts as actions in pane 2. I have a script action called 'Notational Velocity search.scpt' (~/Library/Application Support/Quicksilver/Actions/Notational Velocity search.scpt). If I search 'NV' in pane 2, I see it (red icon): http://dl.dropbox.com/u/157506/Picture%2036.png If I search 'NVS', I don't: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/157506/Picture%2036%20b.png It happens to other objects in pane 1 sometimes, I'll try to reproduce. QS 1.0.0 (4000), MBA 2011, keyboard U.S. (typing on a kana keyboard).
