I've never understood the reasoning for making the default entries
unmodifiable. It makes sense to give the defaults the values they have, but
why force the user to create a copy of the default entries in order to be
able to customize them? I suspect there may be many first time users who
download QS, discover that the default entries for their documents folder
can't be modified, and simply say "Well, that's stupid," and toss it.
Requiring the extra, non-obvious step of creating a duplicate entry in
order to modify a default seems like an unnecessary obstacle to throw in
the user's way—indeed, the very opposite of "act without doing."
