If you select Web Searches (Simple), do you see a number (25) to the left of its check box? If you open the info pane and select Contents, is it populated? Do other web searches work in QS main inteface? Did you completely delete the cache<http://qsapp.com/wiki/FAQ#How_do_I_clear_Quicksilver.27s_cache.3F>when reinstalling?
