Hmm... that sounds odd. Migration Assistant sometimes causes weird 
permissions issues with transferred files, in my experience, so that might 
be what is going on here. 

Try following the steps in FAQ #14: How do I back up or reset Quicksilver's 
settings?<http://qsapp.com/wiki/FAQ#How_do_I_back_up_or_reset_Quicksilver.27s_settings.3F>
 Make 
sure to copy (not move) your existing Quicksilver preference files to the 
desktop when you are on that step. That should ensure that the files on 
your desktop have the proper permissions (i.e. they are owned and 
modifiable by you) so that when you copy them back into place they work 
properly.
