It works around that Finder bug, say 9/10 in my tests. If for some reason 
selection still stales just ⌘⎋ again for that 1/10 — better than resort to 
your trackpad or mouse.

I don't know if I follow, maybe it's an execution order / scope problem. I 
used it mostly with QS's main interface closed. Add to step 3 above Enable 
in Finder _and_ Quicksilver to get selection when QS is frontmost.
